  1. Let me explain what I am trying to do. I want to take a movie and put as much of the main movie as will fit on the first disc. Then I would like to put the rest of the movie and all the extras on a separate disc. Is this possible?

    Thanks,
    -Jonathan.

PS: Just tell me if you want to clarify what I'm trying to do.

Use dvdshrink and re-author the dvd by just selecting title1, then back-up and burn. Then do the same by selecting all the extras you want and re-author and burn.

If you want to keep the menus intact, use titlesetblanker. In titlesetblanker, use the backup feature.

First blank out the extras, (use dvd shrink if dvd is over 4.37GB), burn to dvd.

Then restore the titles you blanks out in titlesetblanker and now blank out the main movie, again burn to dvd.

You can also use titlesetblanker to blank out any titles you want permanently deleting, for example warning screens, trailers, fbi warnings etc...

Sounds interesting, but I do not want to compress the video at all. Is there a way to fill the first disc with the main movie, and then put the rest on the second disc with the extras only on the second disc?

    Thanks,
    -Jonathan.

Sounds like good advice to me :P Depending on the size of the movie you may have to transcode it, DVD Shrink is good. If that's no good then you have two choices - get a dual layer burner or use two discs for the movie.
