NEEDED, program to capture screen shots.......

i tried the search and came up with everything about captureing mpegs, avi, and everything else. can someone recommend some software to capture a screen image. jpeg preferably. is there something where i can draw a box around the still image on my screen that i want to capture?

i think VCDImage does the trick, or a program similar to that name, check in ummm, the tools section

i am going to try the Hypersnap listed under tools. maybe it'll work. its for capturesing still images in seperate windows, not for video. so maybe it'll work.......
