    i have a nec 2510A that is meant to write at x8 but i cant get it to write faster then x4

    any tips to get this to write at the correct speed please

    Update the firmware the the latest version. I have a NEC2500 flashed to the latest MadDog 2510 firmware and it can write at 8x HP DVD+R media and TDK 8x DVD-R media.
