    can the pioneer a09/109 write dvd-ram discs? i have no problem reading them in the drive.. but i'm getting errors through nero (illegal track) & recordnow max (dirty/damaged disc)..

    not really.. a friend of mine has a dvd recorder that will write dvd-ram discs and he was asking me if i could transfer a vhs tape that he had recorded from a dvd-ram disc to a dvd-r, with some basic menu's & chapters.. i was just trying to erase the disc for him.
