    havent had this problem before, but i can't backup disc 1 of Blade 2, disc 2 worked fine and anything else i have tried worked is ther any other program to try. If needed i will post the error messages later but now i am getting ready to go to work

    Maybe Arccos? Did you use the very latest DvdDecrypter?
    No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!

    makes me think its a problem with the disc, im trying again now to get the error messages, i'll have to get the movie a try in my dvd player

    use the latest DVD DECRYPTER to rip to your hard drive first then use DVD SHRINK.

    well i watched it and at about the same part it dies in dvd shrink(judging from preview window) the movie sort of skip then freezes for about 20 seconds of the movie then resumes after that, so i miss that 20 seconds, so i guess the disc is screwed up, didnt look bad but the scratches must be deep

  6. CRC errors are mainly due to scratched or damaged discs. Try cleaning it or removing the scratches.

    washing it with water didnt work, maybe if i had a disc dr. that might work, i guess i'll just complain to bb and maybe get a free one

  9. NEC doesn't make the best readers. If you have a DVD-ROM try it. I've seen a few discs the NEC wouldn't read that the Toshiba burner I've got would.
