Has anyone had any success converting Nokia mobile phone 3gp videos into any other format? If you have, please tell me what you used.

Look for Xilisoft video converter. It can convert Nokia video into several formats.
The demo version is limited, but my cellphone videos are typically shorter than the demo imposed limit, so I have not had to purchase it... yet.

Hmmm. The one I installed just says Xilisoft Video Converter 2.1.41, but I think we're talking about the same program.
I dont remember what the time limit per clip is, but I think it's at least 30 seconds. If you decide to purchase there is no limit (I think).

People I sent my videos to had no problem viewing it.

ffmpeg or mencoder should work. It would need to have AMR support enabled though.

Should also be able to open them via dshow using haali's splitter and ffdshow.
