Recently I have requested your opinion about the Philips DVD-711 (I'd like to buy it !!). But just today I have seen the Pioneer DV-535 with a very special price (206 € about 185 USD) while Philips costs 78 € more (about 70 USD more). Now I'm confused.
The two player have approximately the same supported formats. The only difference: Pioneer has a limit of a bitrate (2600) with XVCD. This is my first dvd player and I don't know if this limit in the bitrate is important or not. I only want to start with a good player...
So, please, there is someone that help me ?
What is better, Philips or Pioneer ?
    Thanks to all.
    For the patience, too.
