I created a home DVD-video using Digital 8 camcorder, WinDVD, TmpgencPlus and TDA. I incorporated a slideshow (of still pictures) at the end by creating a DVD compliant mpeg using Ulead VS 7. While the video portion of the final result (DVD) is satisfactory, the slideshow is crap. It is not as good as when playing JPEG data directly. I can understand the compression factor because the pictures are converted to MPEG but is there a better way of doing this video and slideshow combo? Thanks.
