First off, I'm new here, so thanks in advance for any help I recieve.

I have a nephew who's got a birthday coming up soon. His mother ask me if I could take some of the lightsaber duels from each movie and tie them together to view at the party.

I was going to use Windows Movie maker but apparently it doesn't capture DVD (at least that I can figure out) and doesn't output to a standard DVD format.

So, anyone have any ideas on what software (preferrably free) that will allow me to do this?

    I'm on Windows XP Pro
