  1. its like this ...i have an episode that plays like this:

i start the video (in any player) and it uses VobSub ... even though there aint any subtitle file next to the .avi file..

anyway... i would like to convert it into an standard .avi file..... yeah..like those that u DL that has the sub "inside" itself.. without needing any vobsub to play it

how can i do that ?

and i also have another episode that has subtitles next to it....how to i do to get those subs "inside" the avi so i dont need any subtitle program after the converision... ?

  2. Hi
i start the video (in any player) and it uses VobSub .
How do you know that it uses Vobsub? If it is the green arrow in the system tray, click on it (or right click) select configure - General - dropdown menu select Load when needed.
even though there aint any subtitle file next to the .avi file..
That means nothing as the subs might be multiplexed with the avi (softcoded).

Then I assume your avi is non-standard . Subs "inside" - you mean probably hardcoded subs (softcoded are also "inside", but they can be switched off using subtitle playback filter like DirectVobSub).
how can i do that ?
VirtualDub with subtitle filter and re-encoding to include the subtitles in the images.

Not that I see the problem, but: Do as Abond already told you: Reencode using VirtualDub and the subtitler filter.
