  1. I recently received a Creative Zen Portable Media Center as a gift, and I've been playing around with it lately. To play video, though, it has to convert the file to .WMV to be able to play it. Windows Media Player will do this automatically, so it should, in theory, work well. Copying DivX to it works fine, and it plays the files perfectly. However, whenever I try to copy XviD to it, it creates a 13 KB file and does nothing else. Obviously, the file does not work. Has anyone ever seen this problem before, and, if so, does anyone know how to fix it? I've tried updating and reinstalling the codec, but it doesn't work.

It would appear that it doesn't support xvid. Although the website does state support for avi...there is an *. Try first converting the xvid files to an .avi format you know works.
