    anyone having probs running nero with there HP cd16ri?

    I just bought HP cd16ri this weekend and my nero is not working. I been reading that they have not made a driver for it...but yet some people got it to work...need help...

    I too have a cd16 drive the only software that I have found to burn VCD's is RecordNow MAX http://www.stompinc.com and it is not very good. Roxio 5 Platinum does not support the drive either. I just downloaded Nero and I was going to try it tonight. I guess I don't need to waste my time.

    guess what...if you download th elatest update for nero it now reads cd16ri now...woo hoo...but im still getting crappy results... my sound and stuff is still muffle...i guess i better buy more memory..i got 64 ram on mine
