    i want to record a short..about 10 second..audio clip from a dvd..how do i go about doing this?

    Simplest way ? Play it with your software DVD player while recording it with audio software. Most sound cards are full duplex and can record while they playback. It works for me.

    Otherwise, something like DVD Audio Extractor.
