  1. Whats the fastest way to resize (for standard dvd res) an svcd to make a dvd? I have CCE that I use exclusively for DVD's so I'm not all that knowledgable about svcd conversions...Meaning, I don't don't know how to generate the script myself

However, if that's not the fastest way to do it, maybe someone could tell me what method is best?

    TIA

EDIT: I'm asking cuz there are a ton of guides and I just would like to know the fastest...BTW I AM reading through the guides but there isn't a timeframe kind of deal...

The fastest way is to just author with DVD-Lab, as it will accept SVCD mpeg after some complaining about non compatible resolution.
Other (still much faster than reencoding) way is to run the SVCD mpg thru svcd2dvdmpg and author with just about anything.
Since the SVCD res is not a DVD res, a few (very few me thinks) players might not play it (tho I've never heard of any) but it's sure worth a try.

  3. Generally, if a player can play SVCD, then it will play SVCD's authored to DVD.
All mine do, authored with DVDLab Pro.

  4. What I want to do is change the resolution while I'm at it...

  5. Then you'll have to re-encode the video.
