    How do i convert a dvd to (mpeg, avi, mp4, etc) and make it have permanent subtitles? This would be especially helpful in movies which have a subtitle track used for translations.

    The format I have in mind is PSP compatible mpeg-4. I have already learned how to do this using TMPGEnc and DGIndex to create a vcd/svcd compliant file.

    virtualdub-mpeg2 -> vobsub -> frameserve to nero recode, psp video 9.
