hello everyone,
another newbie post probably..maybe not..well here we go.. are there any models of dvd players similiar to the sony dvp-s7000, as far as the dip switchs for macro and region coding, flip a switch and remove macro and region coding, early models of this sony can do this, just wondering if there were any other sony models that can do this,or any other dvd players that have this "feature",i'm looking to record dvd's to my rdr-gx-300 sony, also looking at a red pro in line harware, also using a rjtech dv800(i believe)region free player, the sony is a region 1 recorder, and i have seen the "upgrades " that it could take, but i don't believe this "upgrading" will remove macro,or any other copyright protection,i will eventuley do an upgrade to my puter and get a dvd burner(probably solve everything!)but i would still like to backup dvd's on my sonygx-300,from dvd, vhs, sat, tivio etc...thanx for the time..![]()
