    Got it Dec 2003.
    Worked for 3 whole months then the video disappeared. Tried it on 2 different TVs. S-Video & composite doesn't work. I can still hear the sound.
    Aspire Digital had been unresponsive on any help at all. Unfortunately warranty expired by now.
    How do I go about repairing it? or is it just a paper weight now?


    PS If anyone is considering buying any Aspire Digital products I would advise against it. They DO NOT cover their own warranties & DO NOT reply. Not to mention they don't even have an 800 number. I don't even know how they stay in business.

  2. Do you have progressive scan turned on? If so, you may need to hook it up to a Progressive scan capable (HD or ED) TV using the Component cables to switch it back. Or try hooking up one of the three Component Outputs into a Composite input to see if you can get a B&W image to appear on your TV so you can switch back. Other than that, it's probably a paperweight.
