  1. Hello, I'm bit new to DVDs and I'm not sure if thing I'm getting is problem or not. I'm like ask two questions.

    1. I have "Samsung Pleomax DVD-R 8x. But on nero when I burn it only seems to allow x4. Why is it and how can I make it burn at 8x ?

    2. I turned verify file on for nero so it checks if data on DVD and what I burnt is same.
When I burn it and it finishes verify, it always come with some error. It always say some sectors are not same. I burnt about 10 DVDs and I always get this error. Can someone tell me if it's normal or not ? also if it's not normal how can I fix this problem ?
    Thanks.

  2. Whoops, sorry about bit of spelling mistake in subject. It should be
"NEC ND-3500AG Problem? and a question"
not "NEC ND-3500AG Problem? and a quest"

The burning speed issue, is a firmware issue. What media ID are the DVD's?

Also, if they're giving you errors on the verification, and it's happened on 10 out of 10 DVD's...Well...You either have some really bad firmware, or your DVD's are class-A Coaster material..

Does it do this with other types of DVD's? Have you run Nero CD-DVD Speed on the discs after they were burned? If so, please post it?

    Thanks.

  4. Thx for reply Fandim.

"The burning speed issue, is a firmware issue. What media ID are the DVD's?"

How can i find out media ID for DVD's?

I tried it with other DVDs by another company (One starting with M) and they gave me problem when I did verification.

I'll try Nero CD-DVD Speed on Samsung DVDs and post result.
