  1. i am trying to play an original dvd through my computer but the sound is very low even though the settings are maxed out, any kind of player gives the same volume which is very low, any kind of other video or audio file is fine. Do i need to modify one of my codecs, and if i do which one because i have countless to play all my avi files. on dvd sound the software monitoring equilizer never reaches the top or even the half way point but any other kind of file can video or audio.
