Hello
I had a VHS tape of home movies that I got transferred to DVD. Now I'd like to do some editing. Can you help me with some basic questions?
1. My files are VOBs. Should I convert to AVI for editing or do you suggest "demultiplex" them without losing quality using DVD Decrypter?
2. Which editing package? I think the main ones are Premiere Elements, Pinnacle Studio Plus and Ulead VideoStudio. I'd like to do some basic editing and perhaps some fancy effects here and there.
Thanks!

No, you will lose quality by converting to avi. Use Womble Mpeg Video wizard to edit
