The manual for the Philips DVR75 isn't the clearest on things and doesn't have any indication on how to switch inputs on the remote or the unit itself. I want to use the iLink function to transfer some DV video direct to the recorder. I know the input has to be on CAM, but I can't get the remote to switch the inputs............anybody have this unit and can help?

If there is no input button, try going through the channels till you get to the input you want.

In order to switch inputs on the Philips DVDR75, you must FIRST press the Monitor button on the remote and then use the remote up and down buttons to switch between inputs: CAM1(DV front ?) ,CAM2(S-VHS front), EXT1(Component rear), EXT2(S-VHS rear) and whatever RF (TV) channels you have programmed into it.
Try it...
