Is there any program that will allow me to do a 'realtime' test of A/V sync? Something along the lines of being able to load and playback an audio (AC3) and video stream (and maybe adjust the audio/video delay), before actually having to multiplex the streams to a file?
I've tried TMPGenc DVD author, but it doesn't seem to support playback of AC3 audio streams - and there's no option for changing the delay, if needed.

media player classic and ac3 filter.
name the video and audio file to same name but with different extensions like
    video.mpv
    video.ac3
and the audio will be played, you can config audio delay in ac3filter.

you must fix the delay in some other tool though.

Thanks - that's exactly what I was looking for; much better than muxing to a file, and then finding out that there's an A/V sync problem.... ()

    Strange...

Why would you not use SyncView? It is listed at this site and shows up almost every time I run a search with "sync".

SyncView is designed *precisely* for what you wanted to do.
