Hi All,
Being new to this and all of DVD to whatever stuff I find that I am having a problem
I want to put converted DVD's onto my PSP and I am having problems.
1. I am using the latest version of ffmpegx to do the converting of the VOB file. I have only 1 VOB file after I did the OSEX 0.0.110 thing.
I dropped the VOB file onto the left side of the ffmpegx screen and choose the PSP option on the right side of the screen.
ff did it's thing and created a quicktime 4 file which when I got info on the file it was like 33.4 meg big. The PSP has only 32 meg main memory.
How do I fix this and get the movie smaller so it will go onto the PSP?
Thanks,
Rich

Hello, I have a PSP, with a 512MB memory stick. To make the DVDs go on it, I use 'handbrake' (google it) to get it to .mp4 and a custom file size or bitrate. Then I use ffmpegX to make that .mp4 to a PSP native .mp4.
I made a 2.5hour movie 350MB, and the audio is well in sync and the quality is reasonable.

That 32MB is the PSPs RAM. You cant put movies into that. If you are talking about the 32MB MS duo that came in the value pack, you wont get movies on that, you may get 1 poor quality tv episode though. I got my 512MB off ebay for a good priceOriginally Posted by rbaroncpd
