  1. I just wanted to know why my dvd drive doesnt like tdk dvd-/+rw discs?

Whenever I put a dvd-/+rw in the drive, it stalls and doesnt load propelrly. They used to work but don't anymore.

Can someone plz help with any information on why they are incompatible?

    Cheers

Maybe your drive is crapping out.

My 105 started to not like Ritek G04s, then it started to not like TDK TTG01s, then I cleaned the lens and it started to like them again. For about a month, then it stopped liking anything so I took it out and replaced it with an NEC 3520A and that likes everything.

As pfh said, perhaps it's dying. New drives are so cheap, just replace it. If you don't like the answers your being given, you shouldn't have asked the question.

  11. How do you clean the lens?

Why would this drive become like this, I thought it was a good brand?

You can clean the lens with either a lens cleaning disc or you can dismantle the drive and clean it with alcohol on a cotton bud. Pioneer are a good brand but your 105 must be around 2 or 3 years old and, like everything, it will reach the end of it's life one day. Computer parts aren't made to last, they are usually replaced every couple of years because they are obsolete so they don't need to be.
