Yesterday I encoded an RAW AVI file into a MPEG-2 Stream using a bitrate of 3500 under constant quality, and I set the stream type at the end to SVCD in TMPG. When I went into Nero to burn this file (in SVCD format, of course), it performed a file check and no error messages saying that this was an improper stream came up. Even though this Disk played back flawlessly back in the APEX 1500 (which seems to play back almost anything regardless), I still want to know if this a SVCD compliant Disk because it is set at 3500 and the it would seem I was only able to get around 25 minutes on a 80 min?
