    i want to listen to my sound from my computer. i have MX5100VR DVD/VCR HOME THEATER SYSTEM.
    IT has s-video out,audio video(l-r),Digital audio out-coaxial,rf-out, . my pc has tv out but i only want to get the sound played using my dvd player. what cable and how do i connect it.the subwoofer is connect to the home theater

  2. If I understand what you are trying to do, you need to connect the line-out of your PC (normally a stereo 3.5mm plug) to an INPUT on your DVD/VCR system. Yor system has phono inputs on the front, or you can use SCART2 on the back. So you need a cable with 3.5mm stereo jack plug at one end and two phono plugs at the other (to connect at the front of the unit). If you want to connect at the rear (SCART) then you also need a phono/scart adapter. These leads/adapters are available at all hi-fi and electronics outlets.

    As regurds the sub-woofer, it may have its own connector on the back of the DVD/VCR, or may be conneted from one of the other speakers - your manual should be able to clear that up:
