My initial problems were corrected by updating .Net framwork, which fixed the unusable extremely blocky video rendering of my first session.
Now to my current specific issue:
I am using two 640x480 NTSC 44hz mpeg2 recordings that have been had commercials cut out using VideoRedo and creating a custom menu using a same jpg that has worked fine with Ulead Movie Factory 3 SE and DVD Styler.
Everything looks fine in PowerDVD and WMP. When I play the DVD (burned with Nero) in my Daewoo standalone DVD player (which plays everything else I throw at it fine), the menu looks fine, I select either episode and the video is cut off on the right side by about 1/8th of the screen and the menu jpg shows flickering behind the cut off section. I have NTSC selected in the Menu settings. It's almost like the menu creation part is using PAL even though I specify NTSC.
Let me know if I can provide more input that will assist in helping me.
Even though the 640x480 format I use works fine in other programs (which I don't like using ..too slow), is this creating a problem with menus for this proggy? My capture setup doesn't like capturing in 720x480 without straining my system.
Thanks in advance for any input that will help. Seems like a nice bunch of regged users frequent this forum!
I love the program's potential for me so far and just need to resolve this problem. I don't know if it's something I am doing wrong...or what info to provide you to help me.

No one else has experienced this?
Burned DVDs tested in 3 different players now ..it's not the players.
I read all about the Pan and Scan, but this dvd does not support or use that function.
Please anyone .... I'm really tired of making coasters to test this out. -
I expect problems and the need for patience for a free product.
Not one that is paid for.
Is there no other method for support for this product? -
What happens with Ulead Movie Factory 3 SE and DVD Styler and the same non dvd standard 640x480 source?
(Drop me an email if you are unhappy and want me to refund you & cancel your registration.)SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

Thank you for the reply Chris. It's decent of you to offer a refund as well.
I'd much rather know what I am doing wrong and the product working than the money.
I'm sorry to be so impatient, it's the 2 day waiting period that got on my last nerve.
I have authored with menus (using same files and same menu jpg) successfully with Dvd Styler (although DVD Shrink nor Nero likes the output), PowerProducer (no problem), Ulead Movie Factory 3 SE (no problem). I like your interface and processing speed better, thus my desire to change.
I tried SVCD2DVD versions 1.5 and 2 with the same results.
I am willing to change anything I need to - recap the video as needed, settings, etc. -
Getting an answer or reply seems to be hit or miss.
Over a month and not a word.
Since I have been unable to use the program and can't get proper support, I'll email you for that refund.
Best of luck.
