Is it fairly easy to sync the video to a music mp3 track in Movie Maker 2??? For instance can you slow down certain parts of the video and give it a slow motion pop video effect to the music?? Can you zoom in, fade out etc and blurr?? Sorry new to all this.

It's okay, I'm getting the hang of it now, however when I cut, trim or delete part of the video, it also removes a section of the music track. Does anyone know of a way of just editing the video, without making changes to the music track??

I've never used MovieMaker2 but there shoudl be a way to "lock" the audio track, usually on the left hand side, or by right clicking

    Good luck

I thought I would give Avid Free DV a try and use that to make my music video, as apparently you can edit the video and music track seperately. It looks like it will be a steep learning curve for me, as it seems quite technical and geered towards the professional end of the market. However I intend to give it a good shot.

Quick question - Why does it take about an hour to import my 4GB Avi File, when in Movie Maker 2 it takes about a minute??? Does it do something different to the avi file???

Early impressions are despite it having an americanised feel to the interface, it's appears more advanced than MM2.
