    Hi,

    When i make avi to dvd, do I have to buy the codec or what it is called in quicktime ? can' I encode with quicktime even I have'nt bought the "thing" for quicktime ?

    The Apple Quicktime mpeg-2 decoder component is only needed when the input format is mpeg-2 and "Decode with Quicktime" is used. In your case, the input format is AVI so you don't need it

    Thanks Major.. Okii, so when i have the letterboxes "on" then the dvd will "auto" set to the TV ?

    Because it is not every time the subtitle stands in the "black bars"
