    as u read the title post, i would like some advice on what dvd writer i should get for a reasonably good price, and i need it to be an external drive that can at least read/write to a dvd-r/+r can anyone help? there aren't many but even with that i can't seem to find a good enough review for one. please reply

    I bought an external USB/Firewire enclosure, allows you to fit any dvd writer, also a lot cheaper. Would cost you about $100 for enlosure and drive, thats in the US, perhaps cheaper??
