  1. hi,
    i used DVDx1.6 to rip a dvd. it is a 2hrs 20 min dvd. it took me abt 8 hrs to rip it to VCD format. i used claddvd to rip the dvd to hard drive and used dvdx to do that. My MC is a P4 1.3 with Rambus memory of 384 ram , win me. i do not run any thing else i even stoped my virus software. is this a normal speed for this kind of job or am i doing some thing wrong. i followed the same methods explained in vcdhelp.com. it goes abt 10 frames per second

    any comments and sujustions welcome.

  2. thats an okay speed for DVDx with a 2:20 min move but i think that could go faster trto set your proirty high and settings to the fastes setting there are but you might loose some quality
