Hello im printing on dvd/cd with the epson r200 im using the epson ink that came with it.It would seem that the discs just dont EVER dry?I have tried different MEDIA from Ty to Prodisc etc. They all do the same.I am using the inkjet printable ones and my epson settings are for the correct media not the premium surface as it says it takes longer for that setting.I am just wondering has anyone else that has the R200/R300 have these problems????
thanks for any advice

Where do you live? I live in Nevada where humidity is not in the dictionary. Mine dry to light tack in 15 min., completely in 4-6 hours.
Prodisc white & silver, Tdk white, no problems. Same printer and ink as yours. -
Humidity here always 50 to 90 percent!
Some discs have been tacky for over a month!

The only time I had that problem with my R300 was when they sent me Thermal printable instead of ink jet printable. I live in the southern US and we all know that Humidity is high here.
I Have used my R300 for the past 9 months and can run my fingers across the disc as soon as it comes out of the printer. No smears. There is nothing illegal, until you get caught! -
Work well in No. Cal. I hit them with my wife’s blow dryer on low for thirty seconds or so. They dry completely right away.

Its hard to beilieve but mine still smear 30 days later!
Im going to try spraying a clear gloss on them maybe it will dry on top of the still tacky ink???? -
Are you sure they are inkjet and not thermal Printables? I'm in New England I have used Prodisc(CRAP) and the new love of my life verbatim printables. Even though I think the Prodisc suck, they still dried in about 15mins.....

I agree with Paisan - my discs seem to dry within minutes. I often handles them and even rub the image and I don't ever seem to get a smudge. The humidity where I live is pretty high by the way. I use TY injet printables.

Have you tried setting "Saturation" to -1, in the Advanced Properties widow for the printer?
I have an Epson R300, and I find that it often uses too much ink on a CD/DVD. Saturation of -1 usually gives me a better (and quicker-drying) result.
