Hey there.
I bought a pinhole cctv cam to plug into my JVCD90u (don't buy JVC buy the way). I wanted to stash/hide the cctv camera inside my hat and then analog into my miniDV cam that would record in my backpack all secret-like. My problem is that I can't get the DV cam to see the signal properly, it's comes across as a bunch of off color garbage. I can plug my Sony DSC-T3 into the DV and it works fine, but the cctv won't fly for some reason. I plug the cctv cam into my TV and it works fine but when I try to plug into the cameras analog in... no go. Can anyone shed some light on the signaling difference between an analog out from my CCTV and an average analog out from a digi still cam?
Thanks guys. Have a good one.
Kelley

A black and white CCTV camera may be 30 fps, not 29.97. That could be the problem.
