Ok well I got really frustrated last ngiht with my machine and almost smashed it against the floor. So heres what happened. I did a timed recording last night. The recording was goign to be put on 2 discs. The first disc I had timed to record from 6:30-820pm, even though I as going to come home at 8:00 to change the disc and start recording on the new disc at that time. However I still set it to 8:20 in case the basketball games 2nd quarter ended a little later than usual. So I get home and the quater eneded up ending at 8:05. So Im like great I wont be late on my dinner from work. So I go to click stop to switch the discs and it wont let me!!! Again I clicked the stop recording button. However, it said disc is in the middle of a timed recording and can not go through with this action. So then i tired clicking just the regualr stop button that didnt work. I was so ticked off!!! Then I tried clicking the open/close disc tray button. It wouldnt open or stop the recording. GRRRR!!!! So I even resorted to pulling hte plug and plugging it back in. But that d-a-m-n thing just started recording again. Finally, and I dont know how I did this, I got it to stop after becoming very mad and bashing at every button. Could someone people tell me how to stop recording in the middle of a timed recording. Thanks.

  2. Try hitting the stop button, works for me on a Sanyo recorder.

You need to hold down the record button for three seconds to cancel the programmed recording before you can press the stop record button.
