vcd to dvd

i have a vcd file and want to make a dvd from it i know how to author it but the quality is'nt 100% it's like 73% now is there anyway i can create it to perfection, thank you and by the way this is the best site in the world.

I suppose that is how good the VCD quality is, but I don't believe that you will be able to convert to DVD quality.

However, I have authored a few VCD Mpeg 1s to DVD with good results, but they are never going to be as clear as a DVD IMHO.

I tend to find that there is always a pale sheen on a VCD resolution anyway, but the quality is still dependant on the source material.

so then the only thing i can do are saying is just author the vcd is there no way i can use cce to do some passes for the video quality, anything i mean when i checked with power dvd player the movie was slightly pixelated.
