  1. After transferring a DV tape to my PC, I am left with 52 small movies that I want to add as assets to a project in DVD-lab Pro.
The movies are already encoded to DVD format.
Is there a batch process to do this or do I need to add them one by one?

Hold in the shift button and select all when importing?

  3. Or hold the ALT key, and select the ones you want.
Shift will grab a whole bunch at once, the first one you selected, all the way to the last.

CTRL for non-grouped selection, not ALT.

  5. The movies were already imported, so they reside in the assets container.
My question is if I have 50 movies (as assets) do I need to create 50 new movies in my project or can I concatenate them in one movie in the project.
BTW, I know I can combine the movies to one movie before importing them to DVD-lab Pro, but it would be easier to edit small movies than one big movie.

Yes, you have to create 50 movies. No, you can't concatenate them in DVD Lab Pro. DVD Lab Pro is based on the assumption that you have fully prepared your assets prior to authoring, so if you 50 clips comprise one movie, they should be in that form before opening DVD Lab Pro.

Drag and drop your movies onto the connections chart.

Use a Title Playlist to play all 50 movies sequentially. then from the menu, link to the Playlist. There might be a slight pause between titles during playback -- will depend on your dvd player...

Do it properly and edit the footage first. You will get better playback, better authoring, and you'll learn a lot. Either that, or in future turn scene detection off in your capture program so you get one movie.
