first of all i got to give kudos to whomever made this program it seems to be exactly what ive been looking for . I definitely plan to buy it as soon as i can assure it will do what i want.

Heres what im trying to do , i got the whole first season of Enterprise , their in .avi format. I want to put 9 episodes on a dvd so i can have a full season on 3 dvd's.

I want to figure out the biggest i can go with each episode in mpg format to ensure the best possible quality .

Ive been converting my .avi's into 412 mb mpg's but 9(episodes) x 412 (mb file size) = 3708 ( theirs still some room to spare on a dvd )

do the files get bigger when SVCDtoAVI converts them from mpg into .vob ? and about how much free space should i leave for menu's and that sorta stuff?

How big should i make the mpg 's while converting from avi ?


hope this makes sense , im a beginner , i just want the best possible quality i can and still get 9 40 min episodes on a dvd.
