    i cant find a firmware download for this machine

    does one exist?

    is it firmware upgradable?

    Pioneer usually doesn't post upgrades for their recorders. You have to call in if you are having a problem of some sort and they will let you know if there is an update for the issue and request you send it in to be updated.

    Of course, unless someone gets a hold of the service CD and a Pioneer service remote!!!
