    Why is Nero 5.5 OEM version not giving me the option of choosing my DVD recorder? it only gives me the choice of "Image Recorder" which is my hard drive.

    i am unable to burn cds or dvds or vob or wave or mp3, etc, anything for that matter, to disc, only to my hard drive and cannot even burn it from hard drive to disc.

    the only two reasons i can think of is that the OEM version is just not compatible with my system or the older version of Nero is not compatible with my newer ibm dvd multiburner.

    any suggestions?

    You need to get a newer version of nero,it doesnt recognize your burner cause the burner was made after that version.
