    Hello,

    I burned several Verbatim DVD-R with a samsung H542 burner and DVD Decryptor. All compatibility issues have been taken into consideration (bitrate, high quality media, 1gb barrier...)

    the disc is quite compatible, but it won't play on a G4 laptop, and idea why? it's not even recognized as a DVD... OSX tells me i inserted an empty DVD...

    no i havent actually, but i just got a NEC 3520 and will now do some tests with DVD+R as DVD-ROM booktype...
