  1. I purchased the $60 CCE basic program and am using it with DVD Rebuilder and it is working great, but i am wondering if there is a way to make it so you DON'T have to "steal space from extras". Seems like it makes you choose between a quality drop of 25, 33, and 50%. I do not want a quality drop in my extras at all even if it does make the overall quality of the movie not quite as good. This is also a problem when burning TV shows(like arrested development) that have VTS files for each episode. Thanks.

  2. I got snagged on that one the first few times as well.

Just click on the already selected quality drop, and it will de-select it, without selecting a new one. This sets you back to no quality drop.

To double-check, just select the quality drop menu, and you'll see nothing is checked. Then click somewhere else to close the menu without selecting anything.

  3. Greetings,
You got this software to work!
I tried quite a few times, and all I get is errors. Does anyone have it working with a AMD system?

    Thanks

Yep. Been working here for months. Try the installation instructions somewhere on this page http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=73051&postid=465822

  5. I have an AMD Athlon64 and it works perfectly.

The big problem is there are multiple versions to install, and some do not install everything you need.

I recommend getting the full installer at

The installer version is the second one down the page. Once it is installed (with EVERY option). you should be good to go. This is the version I installed and I have made 8 backups so far and am VERY happy with the speed and quality.

  6. I find its usually better to install each of the needed components on my own. That way I can debug a problem much easier. I'm on AMD 1800+ here (ug...need...upgrade...soon...) and have only minor probs now and then...and they are usually caused by me.

Agreed. When you do this, any future troubleshooting, updates, etc.. is much easier. I never liked 'auto' install programs anyway - I always like to know and understand what's going into my computer .

  8. Well, the only way I could get the program to work for me was to use the full installer. Once I did that it has worked without a hitch.

  9. Full install works fine with me too, although I think you still have to install avisynth ahead of time.
