I have just installed TWO MicroAdvantage DVD+/- burners but have an issue. Both are up and runing fine and both burn fine. I have performed a couple of burns using both drives at the same time just to see if all is well and working as I had hoped.
Now for the issue: I put in my XP disc because I was going to perform a clean install on a second HD but the drive will not read the disc. It does not think that there is a disc in the drive at all. I hae tried this with several other discs and always get the same result, nothing.
BTW - This happens for both drives.
A DVD will open and play fine, they will both burn fine, neither will read a simple CD ROM.
Any thoughts?
