I have posted on here before trying to solve my poor AVI capture problem from 8mm analog videotape. Studio 8 has a test to check the data rate transfer to the hard drive. Sometimes this test fails but at the moment it has the following reading:
Read: 24315 Kybytes/sec
Write: 27525 Kybytes/sec
Max Safe: 21883 Kybytes/sec
Is this an acceptable rate for quality capture?
