  1. file properties:
    MPEG Layer-3,128 kBit/s, 48,000 Hz, Stereo
    640 x 272, 24 Bits, 153449 Frames, 23.976 Frames/Sec, 94 KB/Sec, DIVXMPG4 V3

i converted from divx to mpeg2 using TMPGEnc beta 12e+
then cut it using the BBMPEG ,but its got good sound(insync)and sharp picture but its jerky ,so i presume i used the wrong settings some where.

This 23.976 Frames/Sec seems to throw me off anyone tell tell me the method they use(templates, etc)

    cheers

  2. Try playing the svcd in a standalone player - many of my "jerky" svcds play great on my dvd player, but like Sh*t on my computer

  4. Do you create PAL (S)VCD's by any chance? If so try the method I described here:

    http://www.vcdhelp.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?topic=49346&forum=3

It takes more time to do the conversion because there are extra steps involved. But I've created a number of smooth running VCD's this way.

    Hope this helps,
