I downloaded a movie and it came in two parts....and I converted both parts to DVD using FFMPEGX.. but now i have two different folders....and i can't figure out how to make it into one folder so it can fit onto one DVD and play both parts...cause i have to put each part to a separate DVD that means 2 DVD disc's everytime i wanna burn the files....does anybody know a cure??

  2. You'll have to start over. Take the two movies (assuming avi, mpg or mov format) and convert them to mpeg-2 using any of the DVD presets, deselect Author as DVD in options, then take the two files and use them in iDVD or Sizzle.

N.B. I only know this from approximately 20 mins in iDVD and Sizzle, and reading in this forum, so don't I might be slightly wrong...

  3. If size is not a problem, and by folders you mean video_ts folders then all you would need to do is join the 2 vob files, located in the video_ts folders with MPEG Streamclip by opening both files at once and then using convert to mpeg from Streamclip. Afterwards you can re-author another video_ts with FFMPEGX in the tools tab. All this should take about 10 to 15 minutes or so.

This might be worth a look too:
