Hello, I have used a Sima Scc2 color corrector in the past and its a decent device for making color correcting but I dont use it all the time but I have noticed that the tint of it darkens here and there on any kind of tapes that I put through it. There is no macrovision on the tapes and it does not matter what vcr I use and I have 5 of them I can use for tapes. I was wondering does any one else have this problem with it? Also does the Sime CT 2 have this same problem as well? I am looking for something to help with outline video noise with putting my tapes to dvd. I know that what goes in is what goes out but I am trying to clean up as best as possible. I also use a Signvideo Image enhancer and dont put too much detail and sharpness cause I know it causes it too show more of the noise of the vhs tape itself and have noticed that Ep mode has more then Sp mode. This is my line up usually VCR-DR 1000-Panasonic dvd recorder. If I have problems with other issues then I go like this. VCR- Datavideo TBC 1000-DR1000-Sima SCC2- Dvd recorder. But its rare that I use the last set up since I want to keep the siginal as best as possible. Any advice would help.
Eric
Thanks
eric
