  1. helo people,
does anyone here use cinema craft pro 2.70 to convert xvid files to mpg2 format?
what is the best setting to use for the best quality results? i tried converting a video, the quality is decent but the video is stuttering quite bad. ive tried changing the settings but nothing seems to help.

it must be something to do with the video settings somewere within the template bit, its very confusing tho
ive tried messing with the template settings but they are well over my head,
Can anyone send me their CVS setting or give me any info to make my encoding results better? it would be extremly highley appreciated
    thanx so much 4 reading!!!!!!!

I have only converted captured avi (picvideo) with CCE and I got got action jitters when I set the field order incorrectly. Can this happen with xvid files?

  6. i tried changing the pulldown and its still pretty stuttery, its not major bad but its noticable!
cud it be to do with the advanced picture quality settings? or maybe the mpg4 xvid codec

  8. Judders are usually field order problems, as Wini mentioned.

In the Custom settings (top button on the lower right of the edit interface I think) there is an option to "output top field first" followed by an option for "offset lines by "1" option.

These are usually the culprits with CCE.

Most video whit the judders can be smoothed out by changing these two settings in one combination or another.

If you have "+ Top field first" checked and "offset by 1" then change the offset to "0" and you should be good to go. That is the normal TV standard. If your Videos were originally DV format, then uncheck "Top field first" and that should fix it. Try different settings with those two options and you should get it cleared up.

2.70 is giving the same symptoms for myself and a few of my friends when we are using DVD-Rebuilder to back up our DVD's. Stuttering, jerkiness, jumping.
We all went back to version 2.67 and the problem disappeared.
