The subject says it all. Came out in today's ad. This is getting pretty routine for all major media to be $19.99 for 50 every 4 weeks or so at Best Buy or one of the office supply stores. Best Buy is the only B+M that I go to that has FujiFilm on sale regularly. Locally Meijer carries Fuji, but only in 15 packs.

Yeah, just went by there this morning and found 5 spindles (2 dvd-r and 3 dvd+r) that were TY (made in Japan). All the others were made in Taiwan.

I still have raincheck from the last time they were on sale.

Last time I called they were still out of stock.

I will probably call all the stores in my area and find out if any have Japanese Fuji DVD-R.
    snappy phrase

    I don't know what you're talking about.

  4. Most stores match prices these days if you can find someplace else near you that has them.

  8. Look for spindles that say Made in Japan, not Taiwan. Also the TY cake boxes are different from others, they lock different.

  9. Damn... i just bought the MIJ DVD+R, im not a fan of the +R but im assuming these are TY's also? They didnt have 1 spindle of DVD-R MIJ only MITs. Ill have to check the media codes in a bit.

I wish i knew that the TDKs were onsale also 25pack for 9.99$ i probably would have looked for DVD-R's MIJ of those

Oh well, maybe ill go tomorrow.

Just picked up two more spindles of MIJ (TY) Fuji DVD-Rs at one of the local Best Buys. They had tons of MIJ DVD+Rs, but I was looking for DVD-R. Had to go to two BB to find one that had any in stock. Worth the exta couple of miles, they are TY and work great!
