Help me!!! I have a serious hard drive problem!

I use my TV tuner on my computer to record TV programs while I am at work.
Problem 1: Some exceed 700 mb.
VCD's can only hold 700 mb.
Problem 2: I have no way to split these files.
I have tried my best to find a splitter but all the ones I get split the files so they can rejoined. Does anyone have a splitter that will allow me to split mpgs into 2 or more working parts?

get tmpge, you can find it under tools on the left.after you get it go to file then mpeg tools merge/ cut. add the file you wanna cut then double click it and choose where you want to split it at hit ok. browse where you wanna save the file at then click run.

i tried both. The only one that seemed to work was vcd cutter but it only took like the 1st 45 sec of the video file and split that. Do u know how i can get it to split the whole thing?

nevermind i figured out tmpge. It works great
