    How can i extract just a single part of a DVD Movie and make it small to send by mail?

    Do i have to rip all the DVD Movie, or can i rip just a single part?

    What kind of software is more appropriated?

    You can use DVD Shrink, it's free. Analyse the disc, then click reauthor. Double click on the movie and that will put it on the left side, then right click on that and choose set start end frames, then you can do any section of the movie you want.
